IMPORTANT:  You must be using an operating system no older than Windows 2000 and your display resolution needs to be set at a minimum of 1024 x 768. 

TRYING BOX SEAT FOR THE FIRST TIME (if you already have a copy of BSB on your computer then use the REPEAT BSB DOWNLOADERS  instructions below these instructions)

1) RIGHT CLICK on the BSB PC 041810 zip file and save it to your desktop.

2) Install the individual files in this order (note you may receive an error message # 1931 with the GAME.msi install, just click "OK" and the game will install correctly as it is checking to see that this file is present):

    A)  PREGAME.msi

    B)  GAME.msi

    C)  BSBSTAT.msi

    D)  BoardStats.msi

    E)  Teams96.msi

4) For a guide on game details you can download the PC Guide zip file below (actually is the BSB II board manual).  Also, the same guide is included in the program when choosing "Help"

5) Double click the BSB icon on your desktop and you should be ready to go.

REPEAT BOX SEAT DOWNLOADERS

 

1)  I would note the game number that you are currently on in your schedule as this value will be reset to game 1 with the installs.

2)  RIGHT CLICK on the BSB PC 041810 zip file and save it to your desktop (no need to install 96 season).

3)  If this is the first time you are install BSB II (have a copy of BSB I currently) then I'd advise removing your current BSB I programs via the "Add / Remove Programs" by doing the following:

    A)  Click "Start" on your PCs task bar

    B)  Click "Control Panel"

    C)  Click "Add/Remove Programs"

    D)  Choose each BSB I program (Pregame, Game, BSBStat, BoardStats, Performance Evaluator) and remove each one individually.  Once you have removed these file you can disregard the "Remove" instructions directly below and be able to install each of you new BSB II programs (that you just downloaded) with your first run through.

4)  Install the individual files in this order (Note you may need to run through the Install programs twice to ensure that the old files are removed and as noted above no removal will be necessary if you removed the previous copies in step 3 above).  Be sure that you are prompted to "Repair" or "Remove" and that you choose "Remove".  Then run all of the Installs once again and that will put the new / latest version of Box Seat on your PC.  So you may actually need to run through the Installs a total of 3 times if not prompted to "Remove" on your first run through the Installs.  This is due to the new install program and not reading the new licensing on the old versions and on future installs you should be able to just "Remove" on your first run through and Install on the second):

    A)  PREGAME.msi

    B)  GAME.msi (note you may receive an error message # 1931 with this install, just click "OK" and the game will install correctly as it is checking to see that this file is present)   

    C)  BSBSTAT.msi

    D)  BoardStats.msi
